Love love loved Mall Deli since it opened in the 70s, and got together with 8 of Alpha Sigma Alpha sisters today during their packed lunch hour! Immediate seating! Excellent food, as always! Great wait staff!
This place is excellent. Amazing sandwiches and very kid friendly. Plus the price is right. We go every weekend as a family after church
What could you possibly complain about just as it's always been a true value. Best sandwiches I've eaten out period. No other deli in this price point compares. And yes they serve Pepsi. Always a treat at the Mall Deli so if in town for passing through do yourself a favor and stop here if no where else and try the French dip it never disappoints! Keep up the Amazing work Mall Deli a real gem.

Jane got us seated promptly!!!! The place really is legendary! Always a must visit when I go to Pitt. You consistently have super friendly staff members and they put out fantastic food. Been going here with family and friends since it was in the old location inside the Meadowbrook Mall. (Old age) Even got some bottles of Creamy Italian to go. Our bill was super cheap and I am still smiling about the visit. FYI - Molly our server was super awesome! Great prices along with great food and super service....hard combination to beat. Very friendly, helpful staff. Great value for the price. The egg salad sandwich is tasty, and so large I'll get two meals out of it. The cheesecake is wonderful!
The great thing about the Mall Deli is that it's a locally owned restaurant. The prices are very reasonable (our family of four our bill is typically around $50 with drinks), and the food is consistently good. Their soup of the day changes regularly and they have daily specials.

For many years, I was NOT a fan of the Mall Deli, due to a couple experiences with food that was just barely good enough to give away. Recently, we decided to give them another try. Been there twice lately in fact. What a difference. Service was good as was the food.
Pretty good place. Solid chili cheese dog. And we loved the odd crackers and Italian dressing they give you. Didn't care for the cole slaw and dad they didn't have Coke products. But over all, great place. Great service.
